2. Visa & Entry Requirements
Information is quoted from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs website: www.diplomatie.gouv.fr/
All visitors to France must meet the following entry requirements:
- Valid travel documents (minimum validity of 6 months)
- Onward/return tickets
- Entry facilities to next destination
- Sufficient funds to stay in France
- Visa for France (if applicable)
All foreigners need to require a visa to enter France, except for:
- Nationals of the following countries: Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Bermudas, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Chilli, South Korea, Costa Rica, Croatia, El Salvador, USA, Guatemala, Honduras, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, Nicaragua, New Zealand, Panama, Paraguay, Saint-Marin, Holy See, Singapore, Uruguay, Venezuela;
- Holders of passports issued by the administrative region of Hong Kong (People’s Republic of China) and by the administrative region of Macao (People’s Republic of China);
- Holders of a valid French residence permit;
- Holders of a residence permit issued by a state applying Schengen Agreement;
- Holders of a travel permit issued by a state applying Schengen Agreement.
3. Practical information
Money & Banking:- Local currency: Euro (EUR) and Cents.
- Current exchange rate (as of May 2008): 1 US Dollar = 0.644 EUR
- Banking hours: Monday to Fridays: 9:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs. Saturday 09:00 hrs to 13:00 hrs.
Local voltage : 220-240 volts AC, 50 cycles per second.
Power plugs used in France are the two-pin plugs.

4. About Palais des Congrès de Paris
Situated in the heart of Paris, the Palais des Congrès is the centre of business activity of the French capital. Distributed over three levels, the exposition space and rooms offer a great diversity of possible configurations.
Getting There
- Bus : Lines 82, 73, 43, 244, PC1, PC2, PC3
- Metro: Line 1 (La Défense – Château de Vincennes), station Porte Maillot – Palais des Congrès
- RER suburban trains: Line C, station Neuilly – Porte Maillot – Palais des Congrès
- Car :
- Inner Loop of the Paris ring road (Périphérique Intérieur): Porte Maillot exit
- Outer Loop of the Paris ring road (Périphérique Extérieur): Porte des Ternes exit
- Underground parking (almost 1,700 places) with direct access to the Palais des Congrès

6. “Force Majeure”
The Organizers reserve the right to modify dates, time schedules, floor plans and programs caused by “Force Majeure”. In the case of event cancellation due to Force Majeure, the Organizers will notify the Exhibitor in writing.
The Organizer shall not be liable to refund the Exhibitor if the Event of “Force Majeure” relied upon by the Exhibitor is caused or otherwise arises out of any action or inaction of the Exhibitor.
7. IMCAS Non-Competition Policy
1. A firm or a laboratory exhibiting at IMCAS, except prior approval from IMCAS Secretariat, cannot organize any seminars or workshops during the:
- Preceding 24 hours
- During the entire duration of the congress
- Following 24 hours
2. It is not permitted to use any rental space to organize activities such as symposia, workshops, demonstrations or lectures without prior approval from IMCAS Secretariat. It is strongly forbidden to involve IMCAS participants in any of the above-mentioned activities.
8. Liability
The Organizer shall not be liable to the Exhibitor or to any other person for:
- Loss of life
- Injury to person
- Loss or damage to property or goods
9. Insurance
Exhibitors are advised to be fully ensured by their own insurance policy including, but not limited to, risks to their property and goods, public liability, and loss or damage caused by circumstantial reasons such as fire, water, theft, and accidents.
Exhibitors shall insure against, indemnify and hold the Organizer harmless with respect to all costs, claims, demands and expenses to which the Organizer may in any way be subjected as a result of any loss to the public or any persons present at the event, caused as a result of any act of the default of the Exhibitors and their affiliates, agents and contractors.
10. Compliance with French Legislation
Exhibitors must ensure that their products displayed, exposed or utilized during the event are legally approved under French law. Moreover, any medical act performed during the event shall be executed by medical doctors qualified to do so under French law.
11. IMCAS Badge Policy
Exhibitor badges will be issued with the name of the exhibitor firm only. They will be given to you at the registration desk.
Number of badges per exhibitor :

| II. | Bronze sponsor | under 8 300 € | 5 badges |
| III. | Silver sponsor | under 30 000 € | 9 badges |
| IV. | Gold sponsor | under 50 000 € | 12 badges |
| V. | Platinum sponsor | over 50 000 € | 20 badges |
The fee for each additional badge is 110 € including VAT. You can order them online on the corresponding link
- b. The exhibitor badges will be issued for the exhibiting company members only.
- c. Exhibitor badges do not give access to the scientific sessions.
- d. Exhibition badges do not give access to buffet luncheons.
- e. Please emphasize the importance of wearing the badges. No one will be allowed admission to the Exhibition Area without a badge.
Access to the conference rooms
IMCAS strictly respects the criteria required for CME accreditation. That is why the access to the conferences is submitted to a number of exact rules, aiming at guaranteeing the scientific independence of the conferences, and at preserving it from any commercial interest influence.
A precise Badge Policy has been implemented, which specifies the rules relating to the admittance to the different areas of IMCAS conferences.
IMCAS Badge Policy is mandatory for all the participants. Its violation will authorize IMCAS Staff to take measures in order to restore the order, and may lead to the withdrawal of the badge and the prohibition of access to the conference area.
According to each participant’s status (delegate, faculty, exhibitor, etc), a corresponding badge colour is issued based on a precise “COLOUR CODE”.
Exhibitor badges are RED and give access to :
- exhibition areas
- all sponsored sessions : symposia and live demos sessions

13. Patient’s Consent
If you are sponsoring a LIVE DEMO or a SYMPOSIA, do not forget that a PATIENT CONSENT should be signed by each patient who will be treated during the demonstration. Please download it!
